Hello and welcome from Monty (dog) and Linnea (human). I wanted to start this blog to document the details of our travels, but I also realized it would be the perfect platform to share our everyday life, our training journey, and everything in between.
But first, we should properly introduce ourselves!

Monty is the star of the show. He was adopted from Forget Me Not Shelter in Republic, Washington in May 2021 as a 12 week old puppy. He is Australian Cattle Dog (aka blue heeler) mix. Monty likes romping around the the forest and begging for human food from the dinner table
My Name is Linnea and I just finished my Audiology Doctorate and will be starting work soon as an Audiologist in the great Seattle Area as well as doing research. My hobbies are mostly Monty’s hobbies but outside of him I like weightlifting and drawing.

Together we love to hike around the Pacific Northwest and do roadtrips. Monty has been to 20+ states! some examples I want to cover are tips on how to travel with your dog, rating the dog friendliness of various national parks, and more about our training philosophies. We would love to hear more suggestions on what sort of things you would like to hear from us.
We look forward to filling up this page with more posts soon!
